The Club’s PGA Professional, Ian Roper, together with PGA Assistant Professional Matt Tryhorn and trainee professionals Scott Gregory and Brent Lund are on hand to give you advice and information to ensure you get the best equipment.
All our team are respected golf coaches and lessons can be booked directly with them.

Ian has been club professional since 1996. Major stockist of Taylormade, Cobra & Ping, custom fitting of clubs is a speciality using Foresight GC Quad. A wide range of clothing, shoes & trolleys plus the necessary accessories also in stock. Ian competes on the Masters Pro Golf Tour and won the order of merit 2022.
Matt has been a fully qualified PGA Professional since 2001 and has a passion for coaching, developing and motivating players of all abilities. Matt is Junior Organiser, running a section of up to 50 juniors, ranging from beginners to County and National squad members.
Scott has been a member at Corhampton since 2009. He won The Amateur Championship in 2016, played the 2017 Walker Cup and then turned professional, playing on the DP World Tour and Challenge Tour. He started his PGA Training in 2023 and has a passion for helping golfers with a particular interest in short game coaching
Brent joined the golf club in 2014 and after a number of years assisting in the Pro Shop, has become a Trainee PGA professional. Brent is currently available for junior lessons and also assists Matt with Junior coaching and competitions.
